The arranged flowers in the vase rest on a bench top. Initially peacefully and unmoving. The vase solid and heavy, it grounds all that rests inside of it. The flowers sprouting from the vase are holding their arrangement, however beginning to be disturbed by the frantic movement around them. The energy around is excited, tousled and unabated. It shows no sign of comprehension of the delicateness of the flowers petals and continues to move swiftly. The flowers must not be swept up by external forces, but resistance feels arduous. So they continue to withstand all that surrounds them, taking strength from what houses them. A reminder to find stillness in busy times.
