At the heart of this abstract reverie stands a hollowed arch, shaped like a house - a symbol of memory, of origin, of the self. Its chimney points skyward like a silent signal, but there is no smoke, no flame - only the echo of presence. The path leading to it is intersected by a stream (the flow of time) and the exposed trunk of a tree (ancestry, grounding, forgotten growth). The arch itself is both portal and barrier, suggesting passage but withholding promise. What lies beyond remains veiled, inviting the viewer to confront what they carry within.
In tones of soft pink (innocence), lavender (spirit), white (emptiness, potential), and beige (earth, skin, familiarity), the piece becomes a map of interior terrain - a symbolic crossing into what we long for, remember, or have yet to understand.
