This painting is part 3 of 3 of my "The Path of the Sun" Series.Inspired by the beauty and near stillness of sunset.
The movement in amongst the landscape is beginning to settle down for the approaching night as the setting sun quietens its horizons.The paint strokes are intended to evoke the sensation of slowing movement amongst the landscape as the sun sets in the late afternoon. Feeling warm, calm and content - it is a perfect way to end the day.
